The Talent System is Garbage

    One problem I have with talents is that whoever designed them seems to not play the game. Some of them were/are straight up horrible, such as the Undying zombie +dmg talent (nobody drops Tombstone for damage) and most +ms talents (lvl 10 +ms talents should be giving 20 or 25 ms, level 15 and higher should be giving at least 30. Sven could probably use +50-60 rather just a pathetic +20 because he gets permastunned anyway). Also the redundant Bristleback lvl 15 talent: nobody in a decent game is going to land 8 stacks of snot on an enemy hero without it dying, teleporting, Force Staffing away, using BKB or dispelling itself in some other way. Shit skill+shit talent is only going to give you even more shit
    Someone also suggested above that talents should scale with levels. This is a good idea: any game that slightly drags out a bit has heroes level 21-24 that are leveling up only to get increased respawn timer/death gold penalties in exchange for the equivalent of a Circlet in stats.

    This was even worse before talents, where supports didn't need anything past level 16 and only suffered from leveling up. Now you at least get a big spike at 25.

    Which is another thing which is working in favor of cores (getting a power spike at level 20 and 25), as they tend to reach it far before the supports.

    Yes, but in long game, supports also get 20 and 25 levels. In pre-7.0 DoTA, most support heroes had negative advantages above 16 level - they cant respawn fast and their death matters a lot, while extra tankiness from +10-20 stats is negligible in endgame.
    ATM, many support heroes get kinda strong bonuses at 20/25 level. For example, Dazzle can perma-stun an enemy with poison, Ogre provides massive +60% AS bonus to his buff, Rubick gets 20% cd reduction, and so on. Those talents drastically increase power of those supports, a good compensation for long respawn time.
    Same could be said about cores too, to lesser degree. If your cores outlevel enemy, they will get their powerspikes earlier and will have much better advantage, while before 7.00, leveling past 16 wasnt really benefotial even for cores (except Invoker).
