Think of one up. I'm here to approve. The only reason why none exists at the moment is because of the lack of activity.

Here's some contest themes that we can start with:
    - Make a lore-friendly piece that explains the changes dota 2 encounters every patch.
    - Make an original Pantheon.
    - A short story concerning a character interacting with an unconscious object.
    - A fan fiction based on a chosen video game or film.

What about some parameters? How long should the story be; words or paragraphs? Are we going to allow the writer to determine the audience and point of view of the story? Are we going to allow narrative? Restrictions, such as: profanity, adult situations, or general weird shit.

Then we get into how the story is to be judged. Grammar. Composition. Rhetoric. Imagination.

Maybe throw in a random story element(s) to make each story unique-ish; then judge on integration of random element(s).

I have no objection to making lore-based stories for Doto, but would like to explore more creative approach to developing stories.

So I just wrote a teenage vampire short story (very short, only 5000 words) if anyone wants to read it. The romance elements in this story are very light, but future instalments should have more of it. The story contains vampires, werewolves and even contains some allusions to race issues in modern day America. It also does contain some graphic scenes.

It's free of course for any Twilight-haters who want a spin on the traditional teen vampire/werewolf romance genre.

Would be up for that competition as well, even though I'm amateur at best.

BTW, anyone subscribed/posting to /r/WritingPrompts? It's a great place to spark creativity.

Better one paragraph of quality than an entire chapter of rushed crap.

I'm starting to read Lovecraftian stuffs, so this intrigues me.

Btw since I'm starting to read about Cthulhu Mythos, I don't know which book I should start with. I found some guides on reddit, though, and this is what they told others to start with:
    The Call of Cthulhu
    The Dunwich Horror
    At the Mountains of Madness
    The Shadow over Innsmouth

Is there anyone here can recommend me stuffs? I'm reading The Call of Cthulhu, btw.
