He said he's gonna check it out and see if he likes it.
He commented that current dota is too monotone right now and too much focused on 5man.

What now Icefrog? Still sucking Reddit's tots? Maybe finally bring back what made original dota good?

I don't think balancing the game will never remove the "deathball".

So long as five players can easily party together and communication is simplified, then players will continue to work together to win games. Balance decisions like Riki's new ult and Shrines do support this play style but I don't think they are going anywhere. Deathball is more of a sociological phenomenon and IceFrog seems to be supporting it.

One option though is to create heroes who disrupt the deathball and make deathballing a disadvantage. Some heroes already have this such as Earthshaker and Elder Titan. IMO there needs to be more carries who can help counter/defend against the deathball or are more powerful when facing large groups of heroes, or their skill set allows them to disorient/disrupt chain casting shitlords.

A failed pro who achieved nothing but making memes threating to quit this game?
    Good riddance.

Samsung said he has like 24.000 hours in the game, I'm not surprised he's getting tired of it.

but for real; Why do people pretend that burnout is not a thing. All these proz yelling about muh gayme when they've been playing dota since it was made in wc3. No shit you're gonna find it stale after ~10 years of playing essentially the same game.

And then they bitch when developers try to keep it fresh...

Though I do think a legacy mode would be cool... with basher troll/void xD
(and the removal of all the QoL updates :p)
    (and totally invis Mort)
    (and old BS/Riki)
    (etc)

maybe because those updates merely rotate set of top "OP" heroes and don't adress issue with game's design (that got fucked up when dota started to be more "more approachable for new players")
