    I suggest to everyone who has medium spec PC that you shouldn't use Linux as your main platform for gaming because your performance on Linux is dwindling. I experienced it myself and compared it with Windows.
    But if you have high spec PC, it doesn't seem to be a problem.

    For Dota 2 at least it's not that bad. Getting the proprietary drivers to work with your favorite distro is the real challenge. I have an old rig running a Athlon X3 processor, HD 6770 graphics, and 4gb of ram under a 5400rpm disk and plays fine on 1080p mixed medium low/high profile. Setting up the drivers was a big PITA.

    Yes sure, I used UbuntuGNOME last time, it does dozen of lag.
    I installed proprietary drivers and got Black Screen issue lol.
