    NA 1-0 SEA
Execration out, US visa policy MVP of the match.
IG and LGD youngster teams also crippled by being forced to use standins.

    USA! USA! USA! :cat:

You'd think their officials would get what this is about by now.

Curious. How do teams enter this competition? What is/are the criteria?

they get invitd over previous results or invited to a qualifier, or the third option go through throuh an ' open qualifier' one even u and ur friends can participate in. probably play like 10-16 matches in total and a lot of them bo1 so open qualifier is pretty hard.

then they have to win the qualifiers or come second.

Well basically valve invites some teams they think are good - and mostly had good results in one or more previous tournamens and didnt change too many players (but somethey they dont give a fuck and just invite popular teams). The really upsetting teams nowadays commonly get in by going through the qualifier stage.

Like last TI: Wings, DC, EG, Fnatic all coming from the qualifier (10 qualifier teams, 4 get into top 4)
Last Major (manila): Newbee (only 4 invites out of 16, 1 got in top 4)

So you can clearly see that valve has no patter and mostly just doese what they want or think gives them the most cash whilst fairness and stability play no role whatsoever.

My Ana card just paid off big. I do think Alchemist pickers go to hell though.

OMG, that 3rd game of the Grand Finals was just friggin amazing. I'm so glad to see a new rising team win, and they are from Greece. Can't remember the last time I even saw a good Greece team, maybe like 7 years ago in EDC.

Both teams should lose for playing overthrow instead of dota.
at least the ninja backstab was kinda funny.

OG threw out of arrogance it seemed, but it made for an epic game. Go AF!

Seems like OG is winning the first Major of every season. Will it be a custom from now on?

They won Manila too. So it's more like ever other valve tournament.

True that. Did not win the Shanghai one though. Let's see how they do in Kiev. I'll be there to watch for sure.
